Lockheed Martin is a global security & information technology company. Lockheed Martin sponsors the walk-day arrangements at Machells Coppice, where hot and cold food and drinks are provided free of charge to all K2B and C2B participants. A construction, services and property group active in building and civil engineering, support services, public and private housebuilding, land development and the Private Finance Initiative. Kier provide the K2B Committee with free loan of road safety and traffic management equipment for the walk, plus personnel to set up and dismantle traffic management systems at the Dunmail Raise.

Kier first provided support to the K2B in 2016, in the aftermath of Storm Desmond, when they were completing the rebuild of the A591 north of Dunmail Raise. Since then, Kier have been contracted by Highways England to provide routine and cyclic maintenance, defect repairs, emergency incident response, traffic management and severe weather services in Cumbria and North Lancashire.

Co-sponsors

Co-sponsors may directly sponsor a checkpoint or a waterpoint, at which they are entitled to display their corporate logo. A co-sponsor may also provide goods or services that significantly benefit the event, such as managing the official K2B website or providing the walk-day timing system. Their corporate logo is displayed in event publicity materials, at the walk finish, and on the K2B website. Co-sponsors may use the K2B trademark and/or C2B logo in their marketing materials. They are invited to present medals to walkers finishing the event, and to attend a pre-awards reception and host a table at the charity awards night.
