North West Air Ambulance Charity
Hello!
Thank you for visiting my donation page. This year, I'll be walking 40 miles from Keswick to Barrow, in less than 24 hours, to raise money for the North West Air Ambulance Charity.
These incredible people carry out 3,000 life-saving rescue missions every year. And rely completely on donations to make this possible - with no funding from the government or NHS!
Last year, when I was hiking on holiday, me and my partner had to call a rescue charity as we got ourselves into a sticky situation. We consider ourselves to be experienced hikers - and it was a scary reminder that accidents do happen regardless of where you are in the world and what experience you have!
The fact that these charities exist and save lives every day is remarkable and keeps us safe in the great outdoors for when the unthinkable happens ❤️
