Why I'm raising Money: Very many thanks to 2024 K2B supporters from me and the local MND community. Furness MND was awarded £20,000 at the 2024 K2B Awards Night as a result of your sponsor donations.
Some of this goes into home modifications for MND families,including provision of wheelchair ramps to bypass steps, and through-floor lifts to enable movement up and down from ground level.
The fund supports memory-making trips out for families living with MND, while they are still able to do so. There was a MND family trip to Blackpool Zoo for current and recently-bereaved families. These outings do help the mental wellbeing of under-pressure families. Again, thanks so much.

All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
