Why I'm raising Money: This will be my 6th K2B walk, after completing it in 2008 and vowing never again! after 8 years I picked up my walking shoes and did it in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2024! This year we are fundraising for British Heart Foundation and MND Scotland; both charities that are significantly poignant to me - through the loss of a good friend to cardiac arrest in 2024. More recently another good friend given the awful diagnosis of MND, a truly awful and cruel disease; she is a fighter and being given great support by MND Scotland. Doing K2B is one small way for me to help contribute to supporting MND Scotland to continue supporting her and all those in Scotland battling MND.

All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
