Why I'm raising Money: I am taking part in the Coniston to Barrow walk for the 7th time, raising funds for our charity ‘A Skye Full of Stars’. The charity supports children and young people to achieve their dreams and ambitions. To date we have awarded grants of over £54,000!
We set up the charity in 2018 in memory of my great niece, Skye Mitchell who we very sadly lost in July 2017. Skye did so much in her short life and supported many local and children’s charities. She was determined that coming from a small, rural town like Millom wouldn’t stop you achieving whatever you wanted to do in life. We wanted to support and carry on Skye’s work.
I hope you will support me to raise much needed funds to help children and young people from Millom and the surrounding areas.

All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
