Why I'm raising Money: In March last year, our world changed when our beautiful, vibrant mum, Steffi, was diagnosed with motor neurone disease. MND is a devastating illness for which, heartbreakingly, there is currently no cure or treatment to slow its progression. Watching such an incredible person face this challenge has been overwhelming for our family, but we’re determined to support her every step of the way. We all knew very little about MND and the MND association or about the work this truly inspirational deserving charity does so this year I wanted to walk the K2B to raise funds for the MND Association, whose work gives hope to families like ours.
For those who want to support this vital cause and honor Mum’s strength, every contribution, no matter the size, helps to fund crucial research and support services for those affected by MND.

All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
