Why I'm raising Money: This year, I'm setting my sights on completing the Keswick to Barrow charity event, all in continued support for SSAFA. For those unfamiliar, SSAFA, the Soldiers', Sailors' & Airmen's Families Association, is a charity that provides lifelong support to serving men and women and veterans from the British Armed Forces and their families. Their services range from practical, emotional, and financial support to advocacy and advice.

SSAFA holds a special place in my family's heart. During the adoption process for both of our children, they were an unwavering source of support. Their guidance and assistance helped us navigate the complexities of adoption with confidence and clarity. They provided not just practical help, but also emotional support during what was undoubtedly a challenging time for our family.

In participating in the Keswick to Barrow charity event, I aim not only to challenge myself physically but also to give back to an organization that has given so much to us. Every step I take during this event will be in honor of the invaluable support SSAFA has provided to my family and countless others like us.

Your support means the world to us. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real and lasting difference in the lives of those SSAFA serves. So as I lace up my shoes and prepare for the journey ahead, I do so with a deep sense of gratitude and determination. Together, let's make a difference and support SSAFA in their mission to support our armed forces and their families. Your donations are hugely appreciated.

All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
