Why I'm raising Money: Thank You for taking the time to visit my donation page.
I've decided to walk/ run the K2B this year & raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit at SLBC, Barrow. This is a place close to mine, Lisa & Theo's heart.
In May 2025 we welcomed our baby girl, Rio in to the world. There were some complications when she was born & she needed to spend a few days in special care.
The staff right throughout at SLBC were fantastic with us all.
The staff in special care went the extra mile, with nothing being too much trouble. They included Theo in everything to make it not seem such a scary place. All while making sure our girl got the best start.
We will be eternally grateful to all the staff at Special Care for all their love, care, kindness, patience & understanding.

All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
