Why I'm raising Money: This year I’m taking part in the Keswick to Barrow sponsored walk to raise funds for a charity that supports Sandgate School students.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart. I teach the youngest students in the school, and every day I see the many obstacles they face in their learning and daily lives. The support this charity provides makes a real and lasting difference to their opportunities, independence, and wellbeing.
The walk will be a personal challenge for me, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges my students overcome every day. I’m hoping to raise as much as possible to help continue the vital work that supports them and their families.

All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
