Why I'm raising Money: Born out of a simple wager between Barrow Shipyard workers and Royal Navy friends in 1967, the Keswick to Barrow (K2B) has come a long way since.
The K2B and its sister Coniston to Barrow (C2B) is now one of the north west’s biggest and best one-day charity events, raising millions of pounds for good causes.
Every year brings new tales of phenomenal athleticism and dogged determination as thousands of runners and walkers of all ages and abilities go through the pain barrier.
I am walking with the GoforJo team in memory of our friend Jo Davies. It’s their tenth year raising funds for St Mary’s Hospice, The Bay Hospitals Charity and The Eve Appeal, and we want to make it a special one.

All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
