Why I'm raising Money: The Furness peninsula needs the wonderful service the North West Air Ambulance provides, especially in times when NHS critical care locally is under threat. We also have lots of people living and working in remote areas and when the arterial roads in and out are blocked. I hope me or my family or friends never need them but I’m walking to support them if we ever do. Please give generously.
All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
