Why I'm raising Money: The North West Air Ambulance provides a life-saving service to those who need it most, 365 days a year. They receive no NHS or Government funding, so rely solely on donations, whether that be bucket collections, to retail stores or events like these.
The North West Air Ambulance has an incredible 500+ volunteers who make an invaluable contribution day in and day out to help make a tangible difference. Without them NWAA wouldn’t be able to make the positive impact they can make on the lives of over 3,000 critically ill/injured patients every year.
The generosity and the dedication of NWAA’s volunteers is awe-inspiring, and I would be delighted to honour their contribution by putting my own, let’s say, “knees” on the line with this 40 mile walk from Keswick to Barrow in aid of the North West Air Ambulance Charity.

All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
