Why I'm raising Money: I'll walking with my wife Omi in aid of Blood Cancer UK which raises vital funds for research into all types of Blood cancer, including T-Cell Lymphoma. My work colleague Roy Barlow succumbed to this a couple years ago. A proportion of the funds collected each year go into a pool for local good causes as per the organiser's rules. I also hope that my employer will match the funds that you donate.
All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
