Team Name: The Birchall Walkers
Why I'm raising Money: The Birchall Trust was founded in 1991 as a community response to the lack of support available for survivors of rape and sexual abuse. Today, the charity supports individuals across South Cumbria and North, West, Central and East Lancashire.
The Trust relies entirely on grant funding and donations to provide vital services. They support survivors from the age of 4 through specialist play therapy, young person–centred therapy, adult counselling, wellbeing support, and pre-trial therapy. Survivors can return for support as many times as they need, helping them heal from trauma and rebuild trust in their lives.
To help Birchall Trust continue this essential work, a group of us are taking on the K2B 40-mile walk to raise much-needed funds. Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure survivors can continue to access the support they deserve.

All donations are made to the Keswick to Barrow Walk Charity. A percentage of this donation will be used to fund the cost of the walk and support local charities in South Cumbria/North Lancashire. The remainder of the donation will be donated to the Walker's (Team) nominated charity(ies) as listed below.
